Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley opens with a black raspberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of cinnamon and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a tasty cherry and red plum blend with notes of strawberry licorice and cinnamon. I also detected some hints of raspberry tea. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. I would pair his Pinot with a duck confit crostini. Enjoy - Ken
