Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Chardonnay opens with a pineapple and lemon bouquet with hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and bright. The flavor profile is an oak and pineapple blend with notes of pear and stony minerality. I also detected some hints of cinnamon. The finish is dry, and its flavors and fresh acidity linger nicely. This Chard would pair well with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2018 vintage opens with crème brûlée, mineral and floral aromas with notes of baked apple pie, marzipan, toasted marshmallow, and floral flavors. The palate is rich and creamy but with substantial acidity leaving a lingering zip of acidity on the long finish. Enjoy this Chardonnay with a variety of salty cheeses, vegetable ravioli, grilled pork chops or creamy soups.
