Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Davis Bynum opens with an inviting black raspberry bouquet with hints of cinnamon, red cherry, and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty red plum and red raspberry blend with notes of spice and light oak. We also detected hints of minerality and strawberry. The finish is dry and its soft fine tannins drifted away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Pinot with a grilled pork chop. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Spice, rose petal and plum create a soft aroma leading to a rich yet medium body ripe with notes of cherry, violet and a hint of vanilla. This wine ends in a long finish with balanced acidity, slightly chewy tannins and a touch of raspberry jam. Enjoy this Pinot Noir with creamy mushroom risotto, maple-pomegranate glazed pork chops or your favorite assorted cheeses.
