Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir from Davies Vineyards opens with a black raspberry and light milk chocolate bouquet with hints of cedar, craisin and red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is black cherry and spearmint blend with notes of red licorice and lingonberry. We also detected hints of mocha dust and tart red plum. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair the Pinot with cedar planked salmon, pork dumplings, or smoked pork chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This Nobles Vineyard Pinot Noir welcomes aromas of raspberry, fresh fig, and barely ripe strawberry, supported with undertones of blueberry pie, vanilla, and cardamom. The palate offers a rich entry followed by mouthwatering acidity, unveiling juicy Bing cherry, pomegranate, and blood orange flavors. Ending notes of marionberry and espresso lead to a long finish.
