Wine Review: This Zinfandel opens with a red currant and mild black licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and very juicy. The flavor profile is a jammy black cherry and old oak blend with mineral notes and a hint of black raspberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and last for quite a while. This Zin would pair well with Kobe sliders with sautéed onions. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Reddish black Aroma: Extremely aromatic combination of black raspberry, cherry, and chocolate. Spicy and floral notes of lavender, clove, and black pepper. Taste: Very lovely and velvety texture, with soft, full tannins. Complex blend of black raspberry and cherry fruit, lavender, clove spice, full-bodied, long sweet finish of black raspberry fruit and spice.
