Wine Review: This almost clear colored Viognier opens with vanilla oak and orange cream like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, yet round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty tangerine, fig and oak blend with notes of white peach and a touch of lychee in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. This rich Viognier would pair well with a five fruit roasted chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Much like the previous vintage, our 2013 Signature Viognier is luscious and generous in fruit, though more limited in availability. Aromatically inspiring with the familiar notes of jasmine, orange blossom and lime combined with a juicy yet tangy mix of summer peaches and papayas balanced by the crisp acidity of Asian pears and kumquats. This wine offers a rich, rewarding combination of exotic flavors, textures, tartness and intrigue.
