Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Viognier opens with a lychee bouquet with a hint of lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, yet creamy. The flavor profile is lychee with hints of clove, white pepper and lime. The finish is dry and enjoyable. The panel suggested pairing this wine with chicken lo mein or baked scrod with a buttered bread crumb crust. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Enchanting aromas of honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom laced with exotic notes of lychee and clove usher in in our lively, ¬oral-spiced 2011 Signature Viognier. With a lightly chalky texture that coats and broadens the palate, the wine’s vivid notes of Asian pear, kumquat and orange zest are supported by classic ¬flavors of white peaches, apricots and rose petal that linger on the fresh, well-defined finish.
