Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Viognier opens with a buttered Bartlett pear with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced, smooth, and creamy. The flavor profile is a very tasty oak and pear blend with a hint of white pepper. The finish is dry and quite pleasant. This wine would pair well with chicken tortellini with a creamed butter sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright and alluring fragrances of macadamia nut, guava and honeysuckle introduce the distinctive 2009 Signature Viognier. A notable crisp green apple acidity pleases the palate while delightful flavors of Asian pear, star fruit and white nectarine harmonize with a nuanced finish accented by orange zest, clove and toffee.
