Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Franc based wine opens with boysenberry and violet bouquet with hints of licorice, black currant, and graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, rich, and voluptuous. The flavor profile is a is delicious blend of blackberry, stony minerality and black pepper blend with notes of oak and black licorice. We also detected hints of black plum and Baker’s chocolate. The finish is dry and its bold, but managed tannins are very nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would decant this wine for quite a while then pair this red blend with a well-marbled ribeye or Roy's rib roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
