Wine Review: This medium yellow colored Chardonnay from DAOU opens with a fragrant pineapple, green apple, and mango bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a stony mineral infused Bartlett pear with notes of pineapple and nutmeg. I also detected hints of oak and green apple. The finish is dry and refreshing for a Chard. I would pair this Chard with a Point Reyes Toma cheese. Enjoy - Ken
