Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa opens with a mild blueberry bouquet with a hint of black licorice and a touch of cigar box. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and very fruit forward. The flavor profile is a blueberry and blackberry blend with notes of oak, black licorice, and black olive. The finish is dry and loaded with big tannins. The panel suggested that this Cab could use some more time in the cellar for its tannins to settle down and so its fruits can shine through.
