Wine Review: This garnet colored wine opens with a blackberry and black currant bouquet. On the palate this wine is medium bodied, quite juicy, and flavor packed. The flavor profile is a ripe blackberry with integrated notes of black pepper. There was some red currant detected as well. The finish is quite dry and its moderate tannins stick with you for quite a while. This wine would pair well with barbecue steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The lifted nose emits floral notes of violet and lavender with savory meatiness and spicy red fruits. A velvety palate with raspberry and boysenberry fruits builds to a back palate of subtle spice and cracked black pepper. The silky tannins and a cinnamon notes provide for a long, refined finish.
