Wine Review: This almost clear colored Grenache Blanc is very good. It opens with a pleasant green apple bouquet with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild green apple with notes of minerality and a touch of lime and tangerine. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. This Grenache Blanc is very food friendly and would pair well with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: On the Nose: Guava, passion fruit, with lavenda and lemon verbena with hints of stone fruit, grapefruit and fennel. On the Palate: Crisp acidity and bright fruit. Citrus, lemon verbena, tangerine and passion fruit. Great balance between the acidity and mineral fruit. A perfect bedfellow for oysters! Incredible with lobster because the acid will stand up to the heaviest butter or rich sauce. Get naked. Live the life worth living!
