Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored kitchen sink blend of a crazy bunch of grapes is very good. IT opens with a blueberry, leather and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is a cedar influenced plum with notes of oak. We also detected hints of green pepper, coffee and minerality. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and fruit flavors are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel suggested pairing this interesting wine with Hungarian goulash or Spanish paella. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: On the nose: Deep red and black berry fruit with dark chocolate covered espresso beans with hints of spice and creamy oak. On the palate: Deep blueberry, bright pomegranate, bloody like Rhubarb, building to the monster structure laced with velvet tannins. Long, long, "War & Peace" long… on the palate with mouth-watering fruit and a mouthfeel that make you crave more. Waves of mouth-filling tannins continue endlessly all the way to the dark chocolate and creamy oak finish.
