Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Dessert Wine opens with a fragrant brandy and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full throttle. It is medium bodied and displays some heat. The flavor profile is tasty macerated cherry and rum blend with a hint of prune, dark chocolate and molasses. The finish is dry and its 18% alcohol level is not hidden. This wine is not timid and would appeal to port drinkers. Enjoy it on its own. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aged 15.5 years prior to release, this Port style Zinfandel dessert wine is smooth, elegant with huge fruit. Dark cherry cola packed with currants, raisins and a lingering caramel-cherry finish. Dirt Candy is dessert in a glass.
