Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Cuvaison opens with a white peach pit and white grapefruit bouquet with hints of gooseberry, lemon verbena, and wet slate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright, and vibrant. The flavor profile is stony minerality and mild white grapefruit blend with notes of honeydew melon and pineapple. We also detected hints of lime zest and white peach. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors are quite refreshing. The Tasting Panel would then pair this Sauvignon Blanc with a swordfish steak or with fried oysters. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our 2022 Estate Sauvignon Blanc splendidly integrates floral, spice and fruit notes into a singularly expressive wine. Vibrant with notes of lemongrass, verbena, star jasmine and grapefruit, this lively wine is aromatically inviting. On the palate the wine bursts with fresh green apple, kiwi and tangerine tones that give way to lush passionfruit and melon notes. The exuberant flavors shine through the long, round finish of this versatile wine.
