Wine Review: This clear medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Cuvaison opens with an inviting mild red plum, teaberry, and gentle strawberry bouquet with hints of violets, clove, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, delicate, smooth, and fresh. The flavor profile is a very tasty red cherry and chai tea blend with notes of strawberry and red raspberry. We also detected hints of mild oak, clove, and cola. The finish is dry, and its round tannins and gentle acidity is nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would then pair this elegant Pinot with veal Milanese. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The name 90.1 identifies the unique variety of Pinot Noir from which this wine is crafted. Originating from the Chambertin vineyard in France, our exclusive parcel yields a distinct wine that matures early while maintaining a robust core of red fruit flavors. Alongside vibrant raspberry, rosehip, and hawthorn notes, hints of darker black cherry fruit emerge. The palate is supple and graceful, featuring flavors of alpine strawberry and cocoa that complement its long, shimmering finish.
