Wine Review: This light to medium bodied Rioja is what the term "table wine" is all about. The wine is surprisingly easy to drink with or without food. The nose has flowers, cooking spices, raspberries, and strawberries. The palate mimics the nose but adds on notes of clove and white pepper. The finish is not the longest but this wine is medium bodied at best. Pair it with gamey meats like lamb or rabbit and you will be glad you did. - Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: From 30+ year old vineyards. Ruby red with garnet hues and medium depth of color. Intense aromas of dark cherry with tobacco and wood notes. A fresh profile with hints of balsamic, incense, cinnamon, and licorice. Elegant mouthfeel with fresh acidity, great structure and fruit expression. Persistent length and saline finish reflecting the soil of the vineyard.
