Wine Review: This light salmon colored wine from Paul Hobbs opens with wet stone and mild red cherry bouquet with a hint of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly effervescent and mildly acidic. The flavor profile is a mineral infused watermelon with hints of strawberry. The finish is rather dry and its flavors and acidity linger for quite some time. I would serve this Rose chilled with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A radiant rose hue like Himalayan salt, this Rose has aromas of white tea, tangerine blossom, and Rainier cherry. The intense linear texture leads to a juicy palate with expressive flavors of hibiscus, jicama, white peach, and oyster shell. The crisp finish is highlighted by steely acidity with hints of citrus and sea breeze.
