Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a mild red plum and gentle red cherry bouquet with hints of pomegranate, craisin, earthy herbs, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is mild cherry, wild strawberry, and light cola blend with notes of oak with hints of spice and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its flavors and fine tannins drift away nicely. The Panel would pair this Pinot with a Scotch egg, wild mushroom soup, or grilled pork kabobs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our 2019 vintage shines with an ultra-bright garnet color and aromas of fragrant strawberry, muddled raspberries, and a kiss of baking spice. Dark cherry and rhubarb are balanced with pomegranate seeds a touch of floral notes on the palate, with a subtle salinity that hearkens to its sourcing along the Sonoma Coast. Seamlessly integrated tannins and fresh acidity give the wine a distinct freshness throughout.
