Wine Review: This dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a pomegranate and cranberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe and extracted blackberry and black plum blend with notes of mild minerality and oak. I also detected hints of pomegranate as well. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and acidity linger nicely. This fruit forward Pinot would pair nicely with Kerrygold Dubliner cheese in front of the fireplace. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Vivid dark garnet color with a focused nose of black plums and dried herbs. The dense palate exudes Bing cherry, raspberry and fresh pomegranate flavors with hints of black tea and cedar. Supple tannins with peppery, mineral undertones round out the lengthy finish.
