Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon bottled under the CrossBarn label opens with a balsamic and black cherry bouquet with hints of light oak and Oreo cookie. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused sweet black cherry with notes of vanilla oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and flavors are nicely prolonged. The panel suggests enjoying this very nice and food friendly Cab in the near term with a veal chop or a filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep crimson Aroma: Bing cherry, black currant, clove, and cinnamon Flavor: Juicy blueberry, boysenberry, cedar, sage, thyme and anise Texture: Concentrated and structured with fine grain tannins, chewy and mouth coating leading to a long finish
