Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Paul Hobbs was well received by the panel. It opens with a fragrant black raspberry bouquet with hints of black cherry, barnyard and caramel. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is red plum with notes of lush black cherry and hints of oak. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this Pinot with thyme infused pork tenderloin or veal milanese. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Ruby-hued and scented with wild dark cherry and black tea, this is a bright, focused expression of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir with great length and balanced acidity. Layers of blackberry, cherry and earth unfold over a silky palate. Notes of cola and mineral accent a long finish.
