Wine Review: This pitch black colored Napa Cabernet Sauvignon was very popular with those who tried it. It opens with a fragrant black cherry and black currant bouquet with hints of blueberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth and rather fruit forward. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry and black current blend with nicely integrated minerality. I also detected some subtle oak and hints of black cherry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins and ripe fruit, stick around for quite some time. This Cab would pair well with a dry aged ribeye steak serve with Emeril's potatoes and red beets. Enjoy - Ken
