Wine Review: This brownish red colored Tawny Port opens with a walnut, black coffee, and brown sugar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, mouthwatering and fresh. The flavor profile is a slightly sweet blend of golden raisin and stewed plums with notes of molasses, oak and a hint of prune. The finish is remains sweet and its flavors linger and last for a little bit. This is a very nice and affordable everyday Port to enjoy after a crockpot pot roast dinner this fall. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Light brick red, with an amber hue. On the nose, rich red fruit, notes of caramel, raisins, and cloves. On the palate, cardamom, spice, butterscotch, and elegant redcurrant, interwoven with attractive nutty aromas. Smooth and round on the palate, full of luscious strawberry jam flavors with an elegant finish. Pair with dried fruit, pecans, walnuts, figs, roasted almonds, or with desserts made with nuts.
