Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Cristom opens with a very fragrant blackberry and cola bouquet with hints of dried strawberry, black raspberry, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a green tea and stone dust blend with notes of black plum, loam, and lingonberry. We also detected hints of cinnamon, acai berry, cedar, and Chinese five spice. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with lamb lollipops or a flank steak with chimichurri sauce. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Earthy aromas with notes of cola and red currant. This energetic Pinot Noir has bright acidity, lively tannins, and flavors of cherry, raspberry, sweet citrus, and spiced notes of tobacco and licorice, culminating in a persistent finish.
