Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Chardonnay from Cristom opens with a very faint pineapple and lemon bouquet with hints of chamomile tea, papaya, and gardenia. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated moderate plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, lush, and polished. The flavor profile is a lemon verbena and white tea blend with notes of chalky minerality, saline, and almond. We also detected hints of ginger, white peach, and nutmeg. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity fade away nicely. We would pair this Chard with baked Dover sole or seafood casserole. Enjoy - KWGTP
