Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and white gold colored Chardonnay from Cristom opens with a pineapple and chalk bouquet with hints of mango, toasted almond, and lemon squares. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, silky smooth, seamless, and fresh. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality and lemon blend with notes of white peach and honeydew melon. We also detected hints of ginger ale, saline, and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Chard with Emeril’s crab cakes, grilled oysters, or lobster stew. Enjoy - KWGTP
