Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Cristom opens with a mild black cherry-cola bouquet with hints of strawberry, black raspberry, and fresh herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium plus to full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, seamless, structured, and displays wonderful tension. The flavor profile is a red plum and stone dust blend with notes of black tea and cranberry. We also detected hints of strawberry, oak, and blueberry. The finish is dry, and its well-managed dusty moderate tannins are nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would drink this gem on its own. With food try it with duck or venison sausage. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Alluring aromas of sweet plum, cola, lavender, sage, and jasmine, as well as notes of licorice and savory leather. The palate is dense and textural, with flavors of black currant, dried blueberry, and dried oak bark and supple tannins that elongate the finish.
