Wine Review: This bright red Pinot Noir from Cristom opens with an attractive strawberry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is an oak influenced black currant with notes of black pepper and black plum. I also detected some black cherry as well. The finish is quite dry and its flavors and moderate tannins for quite a while. This hearty and flavorful Pinot would be a good match for beef bourguignon. Enjoy
