Wine Review: This red colored Pinot Noir opens with a musty oak and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty strawberry with nicely integrated plum and gentle oak. I also detected a hint in red cherry and cinnamon spice as well. This wine is pretty complex. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are slightly prolonged. This is the most impressive wine that I covered from the Cristom portfolio this year. I would pair it with a thyme seasoned pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Forward flavors of strawberry preserves and candied orange, suggestive of marmalade, along with a streak of root beer and pleasing spice. - Paul Gregutt
