Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot opens with smoky campfire like bouquet with a hint of black cherry in the background. On the palate, this Pinot is medium bodied, well balanced, refined and Old School. The flavor profile is a smoky oak influenced black raspberry with notes plum and black tea. The finish is dry and its moderate refined tannins are a little sticky. This Pinot is rather food friendly and would pair well with a rosemary and thyme season pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Light toast rims deep black fruit flavors, with excellent concentration. The lengthy finish brings in streaks of espresso and clean earth. This has the balance and detail to reward significant cellaring.
