Wine Review: This bright ruby colored Malbec is always a Very Good entry level option for this grape. This years vintage opens with a mild cranberry and raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a blend of mild black raspberry and red cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger slightly. Pair this food friendly and easy going Malbec with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine has a beautiful reddish/purple color as most good Malbecs do. The aromas are a mix of freshly crushed black cherries and toasty/smoky oak—just enough to frame the exuberant fruit. On the palate, the flavors of cherries and spice are obvious, and the jammy fruit quality just keeps coming on strong, with hints of spice and sandalwood lurking in the background.
