Wine Review: This translucent ruby red Malbec opens with a dark cherry, oak, leather and black pepper bouquet. It is an easy drinking wine that is medium bodied. It displays jammy cherry, cassis and light oak flavors, with a hint of spice on the mid-palate. The black pepper continues into the long dry finish with firm tannins. I would enjoy this Malbec with a well-marbled steak with creamy peppercorn sauce. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Beautiful reddish-purple color. The aromas are a mix of freshly crushed black cherries and subtle coffee and vanilla notes, just enough to frame the exuberant fruit. On the palate, the flavors of cherries and spice are obvious, and the jammy fruit quality just keeps coming on, with hints of spice and sandalwood lurking in the background. Pairing: This wine can be consumed at almost any occasion, by itself or with a large range of food, including roasted beef and barbecues.
