Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from Craggy Range has a pale straw hue and a very aromatic bouquet. The gooseberry, sage, and lime aromas explode from the bottle upon cracking the cap. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with bright medium acidity. The mouthfeel is delicate, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a very tasty lime and yellow grapefruit blend with hints of ginger, sage, and mango Life Saver. The finish is dry and quite refreshing! This Sauvignon Blanc is best served on its own with fans of New Zealand styled Sauvignon Blanc. If you want to try it with food, pair it with grilled swordfish steaks. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Very pale straw. A fresh and exuberant release from 2022 that talks to the vintage. Typical aromas of passionfruit pulp interwoven with kaffir lime leaf. The palate has the textural elements we have come to love in this vineyard, with succulence and sophistication. The finish is almost saline and leaves the drinker reaching for the second glass.
