Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a very fragrant pink grapefruit and peach bouquet with some grassy hints. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe pink grapefruit with notes of lime zest and minerality. I also detected some hints of pineapple, asparagus, and guava in the mix. The finish is dry, and its acidity and flavors are nicely extended. I would pair this refreshing Sauvignon Blanc with grilled swordfish skewers. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Pale lemon straw. Ripe Sauvignon Blanc aromatics with notes of white stone fruit, passionfruit pulp and kaffir lime. The palate is alive with flavor, deep in concentration but with distinct saline acidity arriving at a wine that has both presence and drinkability. Pair with bluff oysters, ceviche kingfish, or Thai street food.
