Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a gooseberry and green pepper bouquet with hints of lime and green celery. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied and mouthwatering with zippy acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty mild white grapefruit with notes of tangerine and lime. We also detected hints of minerality and lemon zest. The finish is dry, refreshing and lingers nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Sauvignon Blanc with asparagus quiche or fish tacos. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Pale lemon straw. Ripe Sauvignon Blanc aromatics with notes of white peach, citrus blossom, honeysuckle and kaffir lime. Harmonious and rich on the palate with ripe citrus and fresh apple and a layered, dry, textural feel. Pair with Bluff oysters or Thai street food.
