Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Corley opens with aromas of cedar and sage on the nose. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, round and smooth. The flavor profile is a tart red plum and red currant blend with notes of craisin. I also detected hints of toasted oak, baking spice and faint coconut. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins show nice length. This Cab developed nicely with some aeration. It would pair well with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A beautiful expression of the 2016 vintage! This wine is offering fantastic aromas of rich, ripe red berry fruit with undertones of sweet vanillin oak and hints of caramel. On the palate the wine is massive, with a wonderful core of fruit on the full mid palate. The balance of the wine from front to back is impeccable, and the finish is long and carries the fruit beautiful.
