Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Reserve Cabernet from Corley opens with a fragrant black currant bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar infused plum and pomegranate blend with notes of red currant and a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are nicely prolonged. This Cab is very food friendly and would pair well with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine displays expressive aromas of dark black and blue berries, cassis, mocha and hints of sweet toasted vanilla oak and spice tones. On the palate, the wine is richly textured, wonderfully balanced from front to back with dark ripe flavors, full body, and robust tannins. It has a long, lingering finish with a rich texture and slight grip that will help this wine age gracefully for 20 or more years. We suggest decanting for 30-60 minutes prior to serving. Drink now through 2037.
