Wine Review: This ruby colored red blend is very very good and was well received by our mini tasting group. It opens with a fragrant and appealing black currant bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, juicy and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty black currant with nicely integrated minerality and plum. I also detected a hint of oak and blueberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are pleasantly prolonged. This Cab based blend would pair very nicely with a NY strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The dark berry fruit on the nose interlaces with wonderfully layered hints of sweet vanilla. The wine is deftly balanced on the palate introducing light, spicy accents and hints of chocolate. A full-bodied, age worthy texture with moderate tannins makes way for a long and lingering finish. Drink now through 2026. Pairing Suggestion: Roasted Red Pepper with Chorizo and Manchego Tapas.
