Wine Review: This ruby red colored Cabernet from Chile is a Good value. It opens with a mild barnyard, leather, and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused Dr Pepper with gentle black currant notes. I also detected a touch of blueberry as well. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are friendly. This is a nice barbecue cheese burger wine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep, intense ruby red color, which suggests concentrated grapes harvested at the right moment. In the nose are pleasant aromas of plum, raspberry and sweet spices. Flavors of plum and raspberries mingle with pleasant touches of chocolate and subtle hints of vanilla. A very structured, balanced, and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a great option to accompany burgers, grilled meats and chorizo.
