Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend from Chile opens with black cherry and old leather like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a blueberry and black currant blend with hints of old oak. I also detected a bit black pepper mixed in as well. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are dusty and sticky. This wine would pair well with a juicy Augus burger with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep and luxurious; intense and brilliant ruby-red. Black currant, red cherry and plum notes from Cabernet Sauvignon combine with Syrah-endowed ripe black fruit, blackberry and plum. Reserva Privada is the perfect match for finer recipes including grilled and roasted meats as well as for rich pasta dishes
