Wine Review: This opaque and very dark purple colored Cabernet from Chile is very unique. It opens with a soy and black plum bouquet with hints of black cherry, coconut and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, savory and rich. The flavor profile is a combination of black licorice, black olive, blackberry, cinnamon and old oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are notable and a bit sticky. This wine would pair well with slow cooked beef brisket or a Kobe bacon burger. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep red. Bouquet: Concentrated black ripe fruits with leather, chocolate and graphite, all in a perfect balance. Taste: Dense, with soft tannins and a sweet aftertaste, persistent chocolate and dried fruit flavors. An ideal accompaniment to lamb with spicy sauces, and full flavored cheeses.
