Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend opens with a red and black currant bouquet with a hint green pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused red currant with a hint of strawberry licorice and cranberry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are friendly. This wine is a terrific value. It would pair well with a Kobe bacon burger with some barbecue sauce and provolone. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep purple with red hues. Expressive bouquet with fruit-driven aromas of blackberries with hints of chocolate. Juicy and appealing. Rich black fruits and spice with good structure and a powerful, long finish. The perfect accompaniment to grilled and roasted meats and aged cheeses.
