Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet opens with an interesting new leather and cranberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a black currant with hints of black licorice, black cherry, and oak. The finish is rather dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and nicely prolonged. It seems like you can find this Very Good Cab for less than $20. I would suggest pairing it with a hearty Maine venison stew. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark ruby red colored. Luscious aromas of cherry and blackberries intertwine with cedar and smoke. Concentrated flavors are revealed in firm tannins with a soft, silky texture and a lingering finish. Enjoy Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon with red meats, cheeses, and hearty pasta dishes.
