Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine opens with an appealing blackberry, black cherry, plum and cedar bouquet. I also noted hints of strawberry licorice. The medium bodied palate is juicy with slightly creamy black cherry, ripe plum and oak. I also detected a tinge of spices in the background. This Cab has balanced tannins, is smooth and easy going. The finish is slightly dry with notes of cranberry that appear and then fade away nicely. I would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with turkey chili. – Joe
Winemaker Notes: This bold Cabernet opens with flavors of black cherries and blackberries with a touch of currants and vanilla, complemented by earth and mineral notes. Deep berry flavors lead to a soft tannin cocoa finish. Pair with pasta Bolognese.
