Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and medium purple colored Malbec from Colomé opens with a moist pipe tobacco and black cherry bouquet with hints of black currant and loam. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and fresh. The flavor profile is black cherry, blackberry, and stone dust blend with notes of oak and graphite. We also detected some hints of black licorice and bacon. The finish is dry, and its moderate tannins stick around for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this Malbec with a ribeye steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Bright and intense in color with beautiful aromas of blackberries, red fruits and exotic floral notes, this wine delivers aromatics that entice the senses. A full lush entry of ripe and rich black fruit surrounds spiced oak notes and hints of pepper. Fresh acidity supports big, bold tannins and wonderful complexity.
