Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored wine opens with a fragrant blackberry and red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is a fruit forward bomb. The flavor profile is a mineral infused, black currant with notes of black olive and plum. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are tingly and a touch of oak finally shows up at the very end. This wine is loaded with fruit, so I would pull it out with on a cold winter night by the fireplace with a slab of sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy - Ken
