Wine Review: This deep garnet colored blend from Spain a good weekday wine. It opens with a fragrant blackberry and moist earth bouquet with hints of dark chocolate and black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, tight and balanced. The flavor profile is a mild spiced plum and fine mineral blend. I also picked up some hints of black pepper, black tea and a touch of blueberry. On the finish, its flavors and mild dry dusty tannins and acidity drift away nicely. This is an easy to drink Tuesday night burger wine offered at a very reasonable price. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The deep cherry color with red and black fruits with earth and dried fruit overtones. It has a balance in the nose, where the fruit seems to be riper and the balsamic aromas more noticeable. A full-bodied and very well-structured wine. Its tannins are noticeable but very pleasant. Very long and persistent finish.
