Wine Review: This Grenache based wine is slightly opaque and dark ruby colored. It opens with a mild boysenberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well-balanced and refined. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry with notes of mild plum. We also detected hints of oak and strawberry towards the end. The finish is dry and its refined tannins drift away nicely. This wine should be served in the near term with a filet mignon.
